How to Find and Use Statistical Information Sources

Don't pay for Statistics!! Many CANSIM and CENSUS statistical tables are available for free to faculty and students through E-Stat. If you locate a table with an associated cost through Statistics Canada's internet site, be sure to check E-Stat before agreeing to pay for the statistics.

You may also find statistical resources listed in the Library Catalogue. Add the following phrase to the end of your search words: and statistic* (for example, homicide and statistic*).
