Information for Undergraduate Students: Research Support

Research Suggestions

Review the Research Guides that your librarians have compiled. They are lists of recommended resources in various formats (e.g. books, eBooks, and databases) that introduce you to information for specific subjects and disciplines.

If you are unsure about which subject is appropriate for your topic, try the Multidisciplinary and General Sources Research Guide.

Articles published in scholarly journals are often the best source for high quality research. You can search for articles in the databases recommended in the Research Guides, or view all UOIT databases on the A-Z Databases page. Search for a specific journal on the Journal Titles page.

As you search within databases, look for the Find it!@UOIT link. This electronic linking service will help you find the full text of articles. For more information on finding full text, go to the Find Articles guide.  Find it at UOIT icon

If full text is not available, request an Interlibrary Loan through the RACER system.

For an overview of all UOIT Library resources, go to Resources.
