Reserve Information: Information for Students

How to find an item on Reserve

To ensure more equitable access to high-demand items, instructors may place items "on reserve" in any UOIT library. Items will be designated as 3 hour loan, 1 day loan, or 3 day loan by the instructor.

Only current UOIT students, faculty, and staff can access Reserve material.

Reserves can be found in the Reserve Catalogue (on the right).  Type in your professor's name, the course code or the course name and click on the corresponding button.  A list of items will appear.  Click on the correct option and a list of available reserves will appear.  Verify that the item is available to be checked out and bring the call number and your current student card to the circulation/service desk.
