Top Tips for Using the Library

  • Omni Search on the Library home page lets you search everything (books, e-books, articles, reports and more).
  • Log in to online Library resources with your Network ID (the same as your email and Canvas login). Test it now: IEEE Xplore
  • Sign in to your Library Account when you want to see what items you've checked out, when they're due back, and renew them for a later due date. 
  • Check Library updates about hours, spaces, and COVID-19 procedures
  • Need help? Contact your Engineering Librarian, Kate Gibbings, or click the Ask a Librarian chat button on any Library page. 

Tips for Off Campus Access

Here are some tips for accessing Library online resources from off campus:

Use Omni Search, the search box on the Library home page

  • You can choose "Available online" as a filter on the results page. 
  • When you select any online resources, you will be prompted to log in. Use your Network ID

Access databases and publisher collections through the Library

  • Go to Databases A-Z to log in to collections like IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect, and Springer.
