Theses in the Library
A print and electronic copy of every student thesis is forwarded to the Library by the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies for its archival collection and for electronic publication. The print copy does not circulate.
The electronic copy is posted in E-Scholar, a digital repository of Ontario Tech research provided by the Library. E-Scholar collects, preserves, and showcases the academic work of the Ontario Tech community, including faculty publications and graduate theses and dissertations. Materials in e-scholar are openly available to the world and discoverable through search engines such as Google Scholar.
Electronic Publishing for Non-Thesis (Master's Projects)
The Library does not acquire master's projects or major papers for its print archive collection. If students wish to submit an electronic copy of their project/paper for inclusion in the Library's institutional repository E-scholar (this is voluntary) they may do so through their program office.
The submission must have three files, each in PDF format:
The project or paper
Copy of completed form Certificate of Approval - Master's Project or Major Paper
